Configured for the aspiring filmmaker, the EOS Rebel T6i DSLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens Video Creator Kit from Canon bundles the DSLR body with the versatile EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens, a Rode VideoMic GO On-Camera Shotgun Microphone, and a SanDisk 32GB Class 10 UHS-I SDHC memory card. Together, these items form the essentials needed to record well-rounded full HD 1080p movies with enhanced audio.
The EOS Rebel T6i features a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 6 image processor, which afford full HD 1080p video recording in multiple frame rates up to 30 fps along with manual exposure and audio level control. The processor and sensor combination also enables full-resolution stills shooting up to 5 fps, extended sensitivity to ISO 25600, and quickened focusing speeds using a 19-point all cross-type AF system. When recording video or shooting in live view, Hybrid CMOS AF III serves as a fast and intelligent focusing system that utilizes both phase- and contrast-detection methods. For touch control over focusing, as well as intuitive handling of camera settings and menu navigation, a 3.0" 1.04m-dot vari-angle Clear View II touchscreen LCD is available in addition to the traditional optical pentamirror viewfinder.
